I used to eat peanut butter cups by the bag, butterscotch pie (one slice was never enough), and don’t even get me started on Kraft dinner and chocolate chunk cookies. I skipped breakfast because I slept in every morning, I had no drive. I then realized I needed to start going to the gym because this weight I thought I had gained overnight was not going away after having a salad for dinner which I thought it should.
I started out with the Taylored Training Trial membership. I was still stuck in the mind set that I couldn’t do it and I was afraid to go out of my comfort zone or change my habits. Over the past year I have learned SO much – And I have changed so much. I am currently participating in a nutrition challenge and have been trying new things and really paying more attention to what I put into my body.
Taylored training is an amazing place filled with amazing coaches and amazing people. I have made so many friends along the way that keep me motivated. Group training classes are what I look forward to and I actually enjoy feeling sore for a few days afterwards. I now work out because I love my body and I have Taylored Training to thank for that confidence. I continue to do things each day that I couldn’t do the day before and there is no better feeling than that. Even the days when I have to drag my ass out the door to make class – I always feel so much better when I leave. Whether it was letting off some steam or just a crummy day – the coaches at TT are always enlightening and positive – they truly care and the world needs more people like that!
