Here is the truth – what you eat is incredibly influential to how you feel and how you train. It is one of the most important factors in how successful you are with your fitness. It’s not easy to decipher what nutrition is best for your body and your goals, amongst all the fad diets, supplements and information that is out there.

TT Nutrition is designed to give you researched based, quality nutrition coaching. We want to give you the tools and the education to be able to eat for your goals and even more importantly to enjoy eating.

Nutrition planning shouldn’t be stressful. It shouldn’t be seen as depriving yourself of foods you enjoy. Smart coaching will allow you to try new foods and enjoy foods you love all while working towards achieving your goals.

I have done weight watchers, I have met with a registered dietician for meal plans, and most recently I have done a carb-cycling program called the live lean method. On each of those plans I got fantastic results, but none of them worked in the long run. When I was on WW I felt good…. But the meal plan and LLM were very restrictive.

Since working with Whitney I am certainly more aware of what I put in my body and when. Food has become nourishment and fuel instead of reward or a coping mechanism (most of the time – I’m still a work in progress). I have seen results! I lost several inches and I really want to keep it up! I also feel good, this plan is better than on any other plan because I’m eating carbs and fat.

For me accountability is everything. Knowing I had to write down what I ate, and knowing that Whitney was going to look at it every week certainly made a huge difference. I am educated enough to know good food from bad, but the accountability and follow up is what makes the difference. I would certainly recommend this type of program and in fact I have!

The most important thing I have learned is that I can actually eat more than I thought. I learned that eating more carbs in the morning works for me, and eating more fat at lunch helped to stave off hunger in the afternoon. I also learned that slower progress is better, and more sustainable. I would say this has certainly affected my results. It’s helped me to be happy with slow but noticeable results.

I thought I had a pretty good handle on food and felt pretty confident in my ability to make good food choices. Enter TT Nutrition coaching. It became quite apparent to me after my first session that I had it all wrong for many, many years. Not only has Nutrition Coaching educated me on what our bodies need to function at an optimal level but also how our bodies process the food we put into it. In addition to this, I have been given the tools and knowledge to remove labels from food (seeing food as either “good” or “bad”), and now focus solely on NUTRITION. As ridiculous as it may sound, this is actually a very new concept for me.  I literally see food differently.  It has taken time for me to get to a point where I am able to incorporate everything I have learned into my daily life. But I get it now. I think about what my body needs to be fuelled to meet my health goals and know how to plan my daily food intake to meet those goals.  I’m not where I want to be yet but I know that with the support and knowledge I will not only change my pant size but more importantly my life long health and wellness.
